There was once a beautiful pink bridge that everyone wished to be able to walk on as it was meant to bring happiness into your life. One day a girl set off to school after her mum had given her a hug. But she felt like causing some trouble so she decided to try to find the bridge. As she got near the fields around her were sprinkled with sprouting daffodils. Suddenly she sees a glowing light in the corner of her eye. It couldn’t be, but it was the bridge. At last, she sighed. The bridge had been found.

2 weeks ago I had applied for Harvard. The letter to tell me if I had got accepted in was meant to arrive any day now.




One morning I went to go check the mailbox when I see my mum walking back. I go up to her and ask if there was any mail and she replied with a sharp no. Another couple of days past and there was still no letter. As I was walking downstairs, I overhear my parents.

“You have the letter when did it arrive?” I yell

“I’m sorry sweetie we just can’t afford”

It’s was the night of the ball and I was frantically rushing around to make sure that I looked perfect in my beautiful crimson coloured dress. “The coach has arrived” shouted my mother from downstairs. After 15 mins the driver helps me out it was hard to tell where I was because it was quite misty. Oww I just banged my foot against something hard. As I look down I realize it’s a grave. I live a life that is considered weird to most people. I’m homeless. I live under this tree and store my belongings underneath this massive teacup that appeared one afternoon. I don’t have much but it keeps it from the rain. Most days I go into town and busk, but one day when I came back the teacup had decreased. Day after day the same thing happened until there was no teacup at all. I moved off the street into an apartment and I’m doing just fine. I think it was telling me a valuable lesson. What do you think?

It was 2 weeks ago when we were trying to run away from the Taliban home to have a better life. It wasn’t just my family, it was a whole group of us trying to run away when we heard some gunshots not far away. Thinking on our feet we hid in some nearby bushes. It was the safest thing to do. Wasn’t it? I could hear muffling behind me. Pewwwwwww. I felt something in the back of neck and then everything turned black.

In the photos they look like tree ninja warriors, after some scientific research they have been claimed to be labelled as an animal. We are unaware of the name as of now because the scientist’s are not telling us anything at the moment. We are unsure of how they behave and act around other animals and humans so be careful if you encounter them. We will be certain to give you any news as soon as possible. Thank you and goodnight”

Today was the best day until something unimaginable happened.

Both my dad and myself had always wanted to go on a rollercoaster so we decided it was time
to go to that was first on our list of rides. It was the morning so the ques weren't long so we
hopped on the rollercoaster. 3, 2, 1 blast off!! We were going very fast when, we came to a
complete halt. I knew this wasn’t meant to happen. Suddenly we start moving slowly then the
ride goes on as usual. Afterwards dad started laughing, he didn’t realise that I didn't know
that that was part of the ride. So he played along with and it worked
